The Business Development Manager will be responsible for achieving/exceeding annual revenue goals set for the allocated territory through the sales of our professional services.  The Director will be responsible for planning and executing a strategy designed to leverage existing success to penetrate new target accounts and grow the Federal market within the assigned Civilian Agencies


Responsibilities


·         Effectively develop and manage a pipeline of Federal System Integrator Accounts; exceed allocated quota.


·         Prospect and manage agency Federal integrator accounts; close new business.


·         Develop business plan with targeted accounts.


·         Leverage and guide sales team in penetrating strategic target accounts.


·         Work closely with the sales engineering team to assess customer requirements.


·         Forecast accurately. 


Requirements


·         Minimum ten years of IT services sales experience to a wide group of System Integrator and Agencies.


·         You must have experience selling all or one of the following to include; Wireless Data, Network Optimization, IT Operations and Maintenance, Program Management, Engineering Support Services, IV&V, Systems Development, or Systems Integration.


·         Experience with Federal Contract Vehicles


 ·         Executive level is essential; experience selling consulting services in support of these solutions is also required.


·         Polished and convincing presentation (oral and written) and interpersonal skills; ability to operate effectively and confidently with ‘C’ level executives.


·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Power Point, Word and Excel) and Salesforce.com.


·         Ability to work independently toward stated business goals in an open and collaborative manner with great sense of urgency.


·         Highly developed organizational skills.


·         Strong general business and IT acumen / understanding of general issues facing government and industry IT organizations within the SI’s and agencies.


 


Candidates with experience similar to TELOS and HARRIS corp would be ideal.
